We have presidential elections this Sunday in Guatemala. Some info here 👇 Read till the end for a Bitcoin Surprise 🤔⚡️ The most accurate and trustworthy poll just published and things look interesting. Sandra Torres is first place, and she’s going to second round with Zury Ríos or Edmond Mulet. There is not such thing as the “best option”, as far as now people are going to vote for the “lesser evil” Fun fact: On presidential forums and debates there has been a lot of engagement regarding the Bukele’s Model. Most of Guatemalans approve Bukele’s actions and they want something like that here. There are candidates that even replicated Bukele’s speeches and proposals. Buuuut, nothing Bitcoin related, that’s good… or maybe not? 🤔 There is a lot more that I could talk about, but there is a really interesting project that deserves a shoutout. 📣📣 is a platform that allows volunteers to enter numbers to guarantee transparent elections and 🥁 people can earn sats via lightning by doing it 🤯 I already use it, it’s easy to use and you can really make some extra money out of it, and it also allows guatemalans to participate in other ways this election.

The sats benefit is really just for people that already understand Bitcoin, you can contribute without cashing out. I’ll guess the money comes from organization behind it. Check this FAQ for more info, I don’t have that much knowledge of what’s happening behind scenes. Just that it’s a really good and interesting tool for transparency.
