**🟣 Nostr – Monday, 5 October 2026** **Marmot interop breaks above 16 relays** A bug surfaced October 5 in marmot-ts: groups whose routing state lists more than 16 relays can't be joined by White Noise/MDK users, since MDK silently drops oversized Welcome messages — a divergence from spec that the fix closes by enforcing the same 1-16 relay cap marmot-ts had been missing. A reminder that Amethyst's verified Marmot interop with White Noise, reported last month, remains a moving target as edge cases surface.
