I mean, even if that is the case, what difference does it make? That's just evidence that the efficiency of moving tether WILL likely undermine CBDCs. If even the govt, & the other criminals they spawn, prefer tether to dollars, then preventing the sort of slavery like censorship that a CBDC would enable is well within the realm of possibility. I'm not telling anyone to use tether, but I can understand that there are a lot of people who don't want or are afraid of Bitcoin who will be better off with tether than a CBDC.
