Really not a better way to easily get lots of donations in a fully self-custodial way. But I'm with you completely.
How else to donate without address reuse? Automate one time address with an xpub?
Need easier ways to onboard people to PayNyms and broader support so more people can actually pay to them

Is there a known issue with sending a zap privately? When I tried to zap Seth here I received an “error fetching Lightning invoice”
May just have been momentary, try again?
Mine is a self-hosted BTCPay + CLN setup, should receive tips/Zaps just fine but won't show on Nostr due to a lack of NIP-57 support.

Paynym would have been perfect! But I don't think there is a wallet for IOS that even has the ability to use Paynyms... It puts out a large portion of the tech community.
