phone numbers are 10 digits in base 10. thats way easier than an nostr pubkey. even still, i agree most dont memorize numbers, and wish nostr users didnt have to memorize pubkeys to identify impersonation

You can follow the pubkey you trust and the client can inform you if you are talking to the key you followed earlier or if this is an impersonator. There is no need to memorize anything.
