Are you suggesting to let them put a warrant out for your arrest instead? Not paying it seems relatively trivial, them not knowing who you are is (I think) the hard part.

I know in certain states if they can’t prove that it was you driving they can’t ticket YOU in particular. It was just a car that was registered to you. Which is a separate issue entirely
