Nip-05 is very useful even if other decentralized variants emerge. What reasoning is there to oppose it, since it is an optional parameter to extend existing functionality and does not require a code change from existing implementations with it being optional?
For why? What possible reason do you have for not supporting that? I honestly cannot think of any other than just stubbornness at this point. I want to see how many nip05s an npub is rocking at a glance. Plus, this is also going to be necessary for further AUTH stuff in the future, so . . . we better get on it.
