I think you probably got most of the point already. My point is just, that you use the word "jewish" instead of the correct word "zionist". Not all believers is Judaism are Zionists. And I am convinced, that most Zionists don't actually believe in Judaism.

Karaites still exist, TBF. There's a few Samaritans around as well. But yes, you are correct that Rabbinical Judaism (and the Talmud) largely post-dates Christianity and the New Testament.
