Mini-rant:
Since when did running a lightning node become a rich person's activity? Exchange rates have 3-4Xed since I last set one up but the generally accepted minimum channel size is still 1M sats. That means roughly $5-10K CAD minimum in liquidity for a minimally functional node. I'm not trying to make money with this node, just use it for a proof-of-concept project. Yes, I could use testnet for technical testing, but if you want to demo to normies you need to be able to move real money around.
As usually, the solution to my worldly problems is to stop being poor.
