**NEAR Intents tests permissionless claim**
About $50 million of the Bitget hacker's stolen funds were swapped through NEAR Intents, which says it froze roughly $503,000 of the flow while about $166,000 passed through, putting its "permissionless" design under scrutiny alongside THORChain's earlier refusal to block the attacker's wallets.

**Bitget trail links to April's Kelp DAO hack**
Investigators tied a laundering account nicknamed "lolo" (Telegram alias "Marin") to both the Bitget theft and April's $292 million Kelp DAO exploit, reinforcing the TraderTraitor/North Korea pattern seen in the Bybit and DMM cases. Circle and Tether have frozen about $318,000 in USDC/USDT tied to the case; Bitget is offering a 5% bounty for recovered funds.
