Can someone speak about the risks of Nostr? E.g. leaking your IP address to everyone.

every relay you connect to knows your IP address, consider using a hosted VPN which allows you to share an IP address with many other users, my two favorites are mullvad.net and ivpn.net, both accept bitcoin
You can also use for free protonvpn, calyxosvpn, & riseupvpn.
Okay, but are relays storing IP addresses and showing them anywhere publicly? (For instance as afaik happens when a Bitcoin transaction is posted.)
I use a VPN but it still makes me nervous because I could forget to VPN one day.
