New pet peeve:
One random parent or kids’ sports coach asks if anyone is going to miss a game on a text thread and instead of just letting the “no’s” reply, every single person texts “confirming we will be there”

those email strings are so ridiculous. My kids had coaches like that... I figured they just like feeling important filling up their inbox. I used the simplified "lmk if you can't make it" approach... fastest and most efficient.
