How does this relate to Bitcoin?
Let's talk about libertarian parties and freedom. Libertarianism is this idea that freedom is most important thus it's basically anarcho capitalism. Anarchism is very radical for people, they don't want to associate with that term but they want more "freedoms" ("" because freedom is indivisible). When libertarian parties allow different statist types calling themselves minarchists they give another option for newcomers. People who want freedom now have a choice between minarchists and real libertarians, of course they choose being minarchists because its less radical. By allowing minarchists (or not keeping a check on them) they bastardise party and real libertarianism becomes overrun by statists and many of newcomers become minarchists rather than libertarians because its fucking easier for them.
Its fine because you didn't know, right guys?

Exactly! The challenge is always that the easier, less risky path pulls people toward the moderates instead of the core path. Just understanding why it happens is already a step forward ⚡️💡
