Aren't we all ๐
This whole "debate" is pointless and the onus lays entirely on those who want to change the rules. Doing nothing is the default option and the rational option. Changing the rules is insane and should be treated as such.

I think I've seen a certain type of conversation play out before...are you planning on starting some kind of revolution against the current?
like what's the point anyway?. ๐โโ๏ธ
No, we are not all talking out our asses. Just you. The inscriptions hack vulnerability was added (by mistake, it's a bug) and now you say "hey, don't touch the protocol" to fix it? You're just a shitcoiner doing mental gymnastics to weaponize concepts we use to defend the network to argue for not defending it.
We will tighten the bolts to stop spam and shitcoining. Bitcoin is money. If you don't like it, you can go play shitcoin games with the other degenerates on solana or whatever.
We should all revert to pre-taproot to fix that one. That'll be about as easy as trying to lessen the impact with even more retarded updates.
i guess reverting to taproot would mean setting the standard for block production again, and i suppose it's better than letting the crypto folks continue to tweak the rules.
