*when using an ephemeral npub.cash address created in cashu.me
Yea limits are set by the mint I believe…
yep, the mints seem to definte that in nut04. I'm just wondering when using npub.cash if anything changes. because normally the lightning address is just a pointer, but given everyone can receive using npub.cash, i wonder egge is lighting infrastructure to enable that, and if so if that is where the limit is set..
is running the lighting infra to enable that...
Idk
Good point! Npub cash uses arbitrary limits right now. I will change that
ahh ok cool. so there are arbitrary limits. i'm guessing 100k sats
Right now 100k for version 1 and 500k for npubx.cash
yeah gotcha. that explains the issue i faced.. thanks for clarifying
is an npub.cash lightning address interchangable with npubx.cash ?
Both are LUD16 compliant payment addresses. Money sent to an npubx.cash address can not be retrieved through npub.cash UI. Instead in will be withdrawn through a wallet the implements it's API, like Cashu.me or Sovran
