What's the solution for tech? Linux, GrapheneOS sure. My biggest unknown is general internet access... I am afraid one family member (me) is going to have to forgo a very squeaky clean ID for this as a way to connect. Somehow make browsing private and anonymous from there. Life without the internet would be interesting. Not sure it'd be feasible. Thoughts on how to navigate that? What's your plan? For example when starlink or your ISP needs a digital ID sign in, what do we do?

ISP digital identity just a matter of time.
They'll have to attack encryption tech, VPNs, Nostr, etc..
Buys us some time.
I don't see how thats any different from what we have now. Anyone who torrents in certain countries without a VPN already knows thats a thing. You have your own personal IP address and the ISP knows who was behind that at the time. So your already identifiable. Thats why VPN's exist, to solve that very problem.
So I dont think a login wall will change much, but its also not the current plan I am seeing. Plan is a mandatory app on your phone which acts as your identity. All big platforms will adopt. China does it partially trough apps and partially trough phone numbers as phone numbers are also a digital id.
The change thats important is at a site level where they seemingly ban anonymous accounts. That part we solve by adopting platforms where this is not possible to restrict.
