No. We cannot make sure. The best answer that I have heard is that if we should make sure to have some robots on our side. Either by instilling them with the emotial equivalent of a child's love for a parent or by having a cyborg merging of human and ai.

The Three Laws of Robotics would have been a nice start... but I don't see any of the ai corpos even trying.

I will always laugh at the three laws of robotics because the first person to violate them has an advantage over those who do not, and this is something I find amusing.
