I'm hesitant to give much credence to Michael Yon's takes. He talks a big game, and brings some interesting perspectives, but his predictions fall short. Notably, a couple of years ago he was forecasting a global famine in 2023. Well into 2024, that has never materialized to the degree he was predicting.

He has made some very dire predictions here. I certainly hope he's wrong, though it's interesting when Whitney Webb and many others are forecasting similar things.

Dire predictions seems to be how he earns a living. If he's right, I respect that, but my position now is just to watch and see if his model of the world actually holds up to reality.
