#Asia not uniform on this. #Vietnam - no biometrics yet, that i could detect. #Thailand - full fingerprinting for sure, including children, and face scan, if i recollect correctly. #Singapore - thumb prints, face scan. #Philippines - face scan, fully orwellian database entry requirement, before you even get on the flight there. #Dubai - face scan. #Turkiye - no formal biometrics for transfer yet, but i think surreptitious face scan in that hallway after the transfer carryon inspection abuse. I don’t go there to visit, because the visa is basically Shengen, if i remember correctly. They blur together somewhat, because i have to travel around Asia so much, via flying prison vans the airlines have become. #1984 is a staple instruction manual here, except Vietnam for now.
