The crypto bros are absolute nihilistic callow parasites who drag us all down with their bullshit fantasy tokens. They engage in a constant cycle of rug-pulling, lies, and sycophantry that damages bitcoin by simply being adjacent to it.
More substantially, these people are just pieces of shit. They stand for nothing, they are incapable of telling the truth, and contort everything to justify their despicable behavior and guile.
Nothing will solve this except for eduction and the understanding that all of these projects are scams and should get nothing from anyone except for contempt and disgust.

I have experienced this and can confirm. Have not found a solution other than to lean into #opensource which has other detrimental impacts.

I feel the same toward them, but I also recognize that their behavior is guided by opportunism. They create grift on a foundation of something which has broad appeal, and I try to focus on the reasons for which crypto has that appeal instead of the opportunity it creates for such grift. We should all be active in the education that you mention, be advocates, identify well-intentioned challenges to projects we support and further the discourse. On an economic level, the knowledge of why BTC was conceived in the first place should enlighten a precoiner to the fiat system that keeps them impoverished, and hopefully lead them to invest in a way that frees them from the poverty that incentivized their participation in scams at all.

I wouldnt let them get to your head. Many of us where shitcoiners to start until we educated ourselves. Getting burned by crypto before coming around to BTC only is almost a right of passage for many. Avoid being the maxipad cuz they will call you out on it.
