It’s kind of embarrassing to see bitcoiners behave this way, as if there’s no possibility to improve on the existing feature set. Lightning can’t possibly scale to the number of users it needs to serve without expanding the layer 2 landscape. I say this as a node runner for the past five years. Calling anyone shitcoiners for building trying to bring bitcoin to billions of people is just an attempt to prevent that from ever happening. And it won’t work anyway, so enjoy screaming into the void.
