Do I just plug it in on amethyst or is there some instructions or client I need to use
No, to use fips you have to be running the fips daemon on whatever machine you are using, or maybe in your router. I think maybe some people are working on a fips daemon that will work on Android. Not sure.

Yeah there was a project during SEC for android. I think it's stale right now. But it should be possible to get it working.
