Or maybe the opposite.. not being toxic enough was the reasons why larpers were able to became authorities in the space and important people, centralising attention of newbies. Being soft with suitcoiners and Saylor alike lead to this point. Circlejerking big names on podcasts and platforms isn't toxic maximalism.. I don't see real toxic maximalism since late 2021 IMHO.

Can’t agree more and actually it is not that complicated. One of the easiest litmus test to apply should be if it is in line with FOSS and BTC ethos. And that @N keep shitting on @SeedSigner @Keith Mukai and people still keep praising him and his shitty project. And what makes me even more angry people like @ODELL @MartyBent @Gigi talking this like it was a natural disaster, say how sorry they are and not mentioning this as an epic level of incompetence or a deliberate attack on self-custody.
