The summer camp is the perfect example of people pretending things are safe in 2025 and doing the same with their kids as their parents did with them in the 80s. But it's not the 80s anymore. You can't send your kids away to summer camp. You can. Sure. But they might get vaccinated. They might be targeted and murdered. They might be preyed upon by a same sex counselor. They might be offered drugs that are laced with fentanyl and end up dead. If your kids aren't under your watch, you are part responsible in what happens to them. I am very sorry. No this storm wasn't natural. Yes it could target neighborhoods instead of summer camps. But I'd rather it happen to my kids nearby me and my husband equipped to handle it than strangers. We don't have the ladidah privilege of participating in cultured events when our culture is taken over. Protect your kids. ~ Maggie Taylor
