Then it’s kind of like Apple only decentralized. Problem is most of the use cases have been built already on platforms with robust ecosystems.
Kind of like bitcoin, can only win when fiat goes bad. Fiat does go bad, so it is winning. Seems like nostr will win when the centralized platforms go bad.
Elon taking over Twitter and mitigating the bad has delayed nostr. Would be like the government suddenly being fiscally responsible for a decade, not printing. Would delay bitcoin quite a bit.
Everyone loves Elon for saving Twitter, but had he not done so, nostr would be massive now. It has to get worse before it gets better.
