I left Twitter (and I miss FinTwit a little—just about five content creators), but I feel YouTube is going to be much harder. I would say stay on YouTube but bring your micro-blogging to Nostr. And encourage your viewers to contact you through Nostr.

YouTube helps me find buyers for my courses, so it doesn't fund me directly. I want to continue with YouTube, but offer more on Nostr and less on YouTube, thereby encouraging my subscribers to follow me here. I give away 5% of my courses on YouTube as adverts, but I think I could give 10% or 20% away on Nostr. I also want to start accepting Bitcoin payments for my courses, and Nostr seems like a good place to find Bitcoin customers (Courses will be £20 for fiat, but £10 for my Bitcoin brothers).
