The Virgin Mary, betrothed to Joseph, received a divine annunciation from the Archangel Gabriel. He revealed she would conceive a son, Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. Despite her virginity, she accepted God's will with humility, saying, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." She then visited her cousin Elizabeth, who recognized Mary as the Mother of God. Mary's unwavering faith and obedience brought the Savior into the world.
