I think @balajis knows Nostr is the truest representation of the Network State described in his book thesis, but he’s too invested in Farcaster. Nostr has its own culture and subcultures, with #zapathon, #hellthreads, #⭕, and more. It has its own currency in sats, and an economy powered by zaps. It’s a society in the cloud, exactly as he envisioned.
