Did you know that a high fever can cause seizures? I didn't know that, and a few days ago my baby had a fever over 39.5°C, and it happened: a few minutes of convulsing while we rushed to the hospital, going through the most terrifying minutes of our lives.
The gratitude that it was just an anecdote, although traumatic, flooded me from the moment he came back to himself. Life and harmony are so fleeting.
Besides the scare, we took away the experience of feeling firsthand that what really matters is very little.
