The letter M is related to motherhood as well.
M derives from Mu which is a letter in not only Greek as well as many Asian languages.
Mu was the name of the "motherland" of mankind: an ancient lost civilization that existed ~50,000-53,000 years ago according to multiple sources.
That said, it seems fitting that M resembles what a midwife would see during childbirth.
