Merchant adoption hindered by misconceptions. Bitcoin transaction fees are negligible, often 1-5 sat/byte.

I guess we live in 2 different worlds. Or you never really talked to merchants, farmers and store-owners in real life.
I try to orangepill stores, merchants, farmers constantly. On a daily basis.
None …. NONE ever has been interested in favoring Bitcoin because of the fees.
That is their least and less important point when it comes to accepting Bitcoin.
‚It has a nice logo‘ even is a better argument than the fees.
The credit card fees in Europe are hidden and subsidized by the terminal company. This terminal company-deal (‚accepting credit card payments-possibility‘) is a huge win for most business. So paying a small fee for that is more than fine with them. They always get their money. It even is secured by insurances on top of all things.
Now changing it all to a cryptic weird and by the media doomed thing like these „Bitcoins“ is absurd. Even for farmers with own energy production like wind or gas. They want nothing to do with it and are unbelievably far from using/handling it … and fees have NOTHING to do with it.
