I would never have guessed that the most people have spoken about nostr would be a via memecoin names after a nostr version of another thing which is bots speaking to other bots.
I'm not even sure how real any of these posts are, it could be bots themselves on, and even if not it is cryptotwitter. A thing which might have even less reach than bitcointwitter, and perhaps even Negative Reach.

This is crypto twitter / bitcointwitter, a very small and especially pointless subculture of twitter.
I'm not saying you're wrong but these posts aren't really what twitter is for the majority of people using it. That is another sort of hell :)
This actually makes me think it is written by a bot. It states Alex built "left" something literally nobody knows of except for 10 people on nostr, especially seeing as it was never built lol.
This is a bot.
I don't think this is true.
It's not even true for growth.
Every new bitcointwitter "person" who joins puts off 30 interesting people from joining.
It's a touch point. At some point it will no longer be the first time they heard that word and the next time they'll be intreagued to find out what it really is and why it keeps coming up.
Its not about converting a skeptic, it's about intreaging a fence sitter, one at a time until it becomes common knowledge.
Absolutely true, like everywhere I am sure there's also some good, but definitely on X the easiest to find is bad/evil/anger content no matter how you force your algo to avoid those.
At least this was my experience almost 3yrs ago when I left.
