Just heard a Zcash wallet advertised at the beginning of a popular podcast. I believe Monero is more "pure," but ZEC has the VC hype behind it and therefore will probably outperform XMR as a speculative asset, at least near-term. I think any promotion of the privacy "narrative" is a good thing, especially after watching the recent interview with the Samurai developer.
