Sanforized or should people buy a size up?

Great question - it is! The fabric is pre-washed. It will still shrink about .5 inch in the length, but we make them slightly longer to hedge against that. They shouldn’t shrink much in the width. Maybe only 1/8” over time, if you wash cold and hang dry it, or dry on low heat.

No worries, i read between the lines when you said you added the 1/2 inch. Assuming pre washed and not raw? Wife is currently working on a jeans design for men with muscular legs to combat crotch blowout. I am but a happy model and look forward to trying to break them

Yes pre-washed! And that’s awesome. That’s the first part of my jeans to go.
