Yup! It’s exactly what I did, I like to do it for 2 reasons: A. It looks nice B. It gives me a small margin of error when glueing the headstock , because of the multi laminated neck, it’s very difficult to get those lines perfectly in line , if it’s off even a half a mm it’s obvious, but with that small buffer there the eye won’t notice
