Read back what you just said. The most technically competent bitcoiners are telling you things you don’t want to hear, for some reason. There is no hysteria here, just a lot of people concerned about the direction Bitcoin is going. Will you be morally ok with running a node with CSAM on it? Have you actually thought about it in those terms? Will you be ok with node running costs becoming so high that node centralisation becomes inevitable, alongside the current levels of miner centralisation? Have you thought through what a completely centralised Bitcoin means?
