Personally, i think they all have their own seperate agenda for why they choose to cooperate with the state. They all want control and power but they're all experimenting with different means to achieve such influence. I don't believe any of them wish to share whatever amount they can get their hands on. Dorsey with a new internet protocol and services like Bitchat, Elon collecting data with his shitty cars, Starlink, and AI, Meta is starting to seem like they're falling out of the race, with Apple and Microsoft just doing their usual thing. Idk.
