The best one is considered to be Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. I played it on Google Stadia. It’s genuinely a great game, even though it doesn’t really look like one at first glance. In terms of story it’s very derivative for the series, but as a first Ys game to get familiar with the franchise, it’s an excellent choice.
