🚩 P2P red flag #1: The Off-Platform Communicator
What it looks like: The other party immediately tries to move the conversation to Telegram, WhatsApp, or another private messaging app instead of the platform's internal chat.
Why it's a red flag: Scammers do this to drive you to some phishing website or scam scheme out of the sight of platform's moderation and to operate outside the official trade chat, which is your only proof if you need to raise a dispute.
