Remarkable seems good for just reading, drawing and making notes. This display is faster so different experience, more versatile with OS that won't be locked down and ability to add apps (also no subscription service like Remarkable), and Remarkable can't be used in the dark without an external light source, whereas Daylight has amber light.

Ability to ad apps does not go well with "distraction free".
So the only thing that it does better is thats a faster display. On the other hand it is less distraction free. And all at a cost thats higher than competitor ones.
