You can use the legacy nip-04 dms I guess 🤔the secured nip-17 cant use due to the giftwrap event and other relayed issues

Hey nostr:npub1kg4sdvz3l4fr99n2jdz2vdxe2mpacva87hkdetv76ywacsfq5leqquw5te , signing events using remote signers requires a heavy back and forth communication between the client and the bunker, therefore, encrypting, decrypting, signing and publishing events is not practical and will result a very undesirable user experience that way, until we figure out a better solution for this, you can always enjoy messages using other methods of signing 🙏
Yeah, the process of decrypting dms can be burdensome, especially if a user has a lot of messages. That’s why it’s disabled in the first place.
Flotilla also disable it by default but there is a button to enable it. And it work fine.
I see, we will into this issue, hopefully we can come up with an optimized solution that wouldn’t affect the performance 🙏
