I hate when people speak from places of authority and absolutes.
At least meet others halfway and admit there are competing hypotheses that you may not value. Then bring receipts. Mind numbing

Absolutely. I think it's tough for someone doing 2-3 speaking engagements a day to meet each person with that sort of "beginner's mind," but ultimately, it must be done in order not to stagnate in our thinking.
