studying is not doing crossword puzzles. And going to school is not just learning notions but also learning to interact with peers and form social relationships that think like us or differently from us. Pluralism is good for capitalism.

For sure you don’t need school for crosswords. Do you know everything about math? History? Geography? Philosophy? Literature? Gymnastic? How you teach these things if you don’t know them? And social sciences and politics? Let’s say I’m a communist. I teach my kids only communism and I teach them to look at world only through its lens. Wouldn’t be good for my kids to listen a different version of the history in order to form a proper opinion? дело в том, что школа не обязана делать ВСЕ. Школа — это не то учреждение, которому можно просто делегировать образовательные задачи семьи. Для наилучшего развития личности крайне важно, чтобы эти две вещи были интегрированы.
