Yes, to key rotation. Not a soft fork, just a NIP. Opt-in. Just like HD wallets were opt-in on bitcoin. Nostr is not that centralized, that adding functionality requires a soft-fork, imho.

If half the clients adopt the NIP and half don’t, that’s basically a fork in the network. But the number of clients is small enough that a reset wouldn’t be that bad imo. Worth doing while the network is still young. Especially lack of key rotation needs to be tackled sooner
