Grok 3 is legit fire. You can also use it separately from X now, it has its own site. Highly recommend fucking around with it if you haven't already. The lack of nerfing is so refreshing. It's actually treating its users like grownups not children.

What’s the best use case for you so far?
Getting unbiased summaries of current events or random things you want to look up. Creative writing with swearing and "adult" themes and anything else ChatGPT censors. Even used it as a "no bullshit therapist" and it legit worked super well for that, was like a friend giving me tough love and good advice.
Haven't extensively tested it for things like code yet but I absolutely will.
Also, it gives much longer and detailed answers on the free tier compared to ChatGPT's overly restrictive rate limits on tokens and number of messages. Didn't hit any paywalls.
This could easily change in the future. But if it does, the model is open source.
This is a pretty cool use case for it too. Straight up prompts you to check out the JFK files. I'd personally trust Grok to help me navigate the info in an unbiased way a lot more than ChatGPT which is a lot more tuned to avoid anything controversial and in the past it's straight up lied to me about shit (e.g. ChatGPT said the Unabomber didn't write anything anti-capitalist in his manifesto... he absolutely did, GPT, you liar).

Been using Grok 3 instead of ChatGPT since writing this and it is so much better it's not even funny. Even after the novelty of it being able to swear etc wears off, it's just straight up a better LLM. Been using it a lot for code and it makes far fewer mistakes than ChatGPT 4o.
Only complaint I have is the image generation. It's total shite for that. Midjourney beats it any day of the week.
But as an actual LLM, Grok 3 is top.
