I've also recently discovered the Pacific island of niue. The moment I saw it on the map for the first time, somehow I intuitively knew that this is where I need to be to set up my remote Dr evil HomeBase.
I've been looking into building underground hidden places. Placing them all over the country or all over the world, on private land that is not protected.
There's a lot of remote land out there that is never going to be used for anything.
