I agree. But it'll also make on and off ramps way scarce and dangerous for the common folk.

XMR onramping is already illegal in parts of the world. they buy "legal" cryptos and swap them with instant swap websites if they are lazy, or they use bisq/retoswap if they are patient. sometimes people sell things on xmrbazaar as a way to onramp and they buy things to offramp
