This was before my time, but I can't believe how high the fees were back then compared to now. The median fee in this block is generational wealth for like ten families.

Important observation. Most people do not understand that fees in SATS terms have only gone down.
This is because Bitcoin has hyper monetized since the first halving.
🤔 why were fees so high when blocks weren't anywhere close to being full?
