Yes that's a big advantage for podcast listeners. Just get the them to switch to an app that supports podcasting2.0 and they're good to go.

This is what I see as well. It’s fair enough if people don’t find value in the music, but it’s definitely a discussion that deserves some attention. I’m pretty sure most of us would like to see a more decentralized version of the world, but right now, I have to say that Spotify is unfortunately my most reliable source of income tied directly to music streaming. Yes, there are other ways to earn a living, like live shows, merchandise, or even selling hotdogs, but I’m old school and still believe that recorded music has its own value. We have great potential here to make this space the independent and edgy alternative to Spotify, and a more successful version of Bandcamp. Without a better plan to make it happen, it will be difficult to convince newly onboarded artists not to lose interest after just a few months.

I'm sure that seems to be, and sure that tracks for Nostr generally, and there's a lot of people busy in there life making ends meet. Friction seems small but it's enough that there's slow adoption across this ecosystem.

That would be an interesting and creative approach. ♪ I'll need to have a closer look at this when I have a bit more time. This is the kind of "Outside-The-Box" thinking that will eventually take us where we want to be. Thanks for sharing.
