He isn't but he has huge influence on the current core devs. He is commenting on changes. See here, after the backlash from Plebs, Schmidty decided to revert the deprecation of datacarrier size configuration option to make the malware Core v30 more acceptable. Slopp of course immediately signaled that he is fine with that becuase defaults are what matters. Majority of Core devs and just VC and shitcoiners cucks.
